Welcome to Rincon Grade Winery
and Antonina's Vineyard

Rincon Grade Winery and Antonina's Vineyard look down over the Rincon Valley where the Santa Rosa Plain meets the western edge of the Mayacamas Mountains between the Sonoma and Napa Valleys.  At one thousand feet elevation, our volcanic soils produce intense fruit on tight row spacing.   Under a southwestern exposure, the grapes soak in the warmth and best sun angles, while we appreciate the amazing views and sunsets.  Here the Marek Family tends a microvineyard planted mainly to Cabernet Franc, Petite Sirah, and Syrah , with a little Sauvignon Blanc, Viognier, Semillon and Mourvèdre for extra fun.  In its sixth leaf now in 2013, most of the grapes are sold to wineries and wine makers, but enough is saved to produce small bottlings of our own "garagiste" estate wines.

Antonina's Vineyard is named to honor Antonina Marek, a remarkable woman who loved California wines and vineyards and who encouraged us to develop this dream.  Since we are not a commercial winery, none of our wines are available for sale.  But please share our vision through these webpages with descriptions of our wines, a gallery of photos of our special little spot, and other information.  Cheers!
